Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about therapy and how it works

What happens in the first session?

The first session (intake) is 80 minutes. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to achieve. I'll explain how therapy works and answer any questions. Together, we'll create a plan for your treatment.

How long does therapy take?

It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some people find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your progress.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Everything you share in therapy is confidential. I won't share information with anyone without your written consent. The only exceptions are if there's a serious risk of harm.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. Online therapy is available via secure video call. It's ideal for Cambodians living abroad, expats who travel frequently, or anyone who prefers the comfort of their own space.

What languages do you offer therapy in?

I'm bilingual and offer therapy in both Khmer and English. You can choose whichever language you're most comfortable expressing yourself in.
