Trauma Therapy in Phnom Penh

Compassionate, evidence-based therapy for trauma and PTSD. Helping you process the past so it no longer controls the present.

What Is Trauma?

Trauma is the lasting emotional and psychological response to a deeply distressing event — or a series of events. It can come from a single incident like an accident or assault, or from prolonged experiences like childhood neglect, family violence, or living through historical atrocities.

In Cambodia, trauma carries a particular weight. Many families carry the legacy of the Khmer Rouge era — grief, loss, and silence passed down through generations. Dasy understands this cultural context deeply and works with both personal and intergenerational trauma with sensitivity and care.
